Two Swallows Pincushion

This little pincushion features two blue and pink swallows which were digitally embroidered onto hand dyed cotton fabric using lustrous Madeira rayon and soft metallic threads. The pincushion  is free motion machine quilted with a little hand worked seed stitch for added texture. The texture of the quilting has been enhanced with copper metallic fabric paint. It has been framed with a folded insert on all sides.
