This is an original painting of one of the birds that chatter noisily in the hedge outside the kitchen window. Their numbers are in general decline in the UK but we are lucky and have lots – probably because we have several bird feeders around the garden. My painting is acrylic onto a square, wooden panel and is ready for display. I’ve painted the background in metallic gold just to emphasize how precious these little creatures are!
