Module Nine
In Module 9 students work on the first of their two Assessment pieces, a customized sketchbook using landscape as the theme.
Surrounding: Linda chose the landscape scenery of a walk in the woods for her first assessment. The yellow arror markers of the walk become a recurrent motif.
Above and below: Collage techniques, cut pages, photography, drawing and stencilling were all used.

Left and Right: Linda is beginning work on her first Assessment piece by collecting photographs.

Left Lorraine has completed her first sketchbook for Assessment.

Right: The front cover uses acetate fastened with eyelets over a painted paper.

Left: We are only able to show a small selection of the pages from Lorraine's sketchbook. Collage and printing are combined with spraying.

Left: A fence was the starting point for this print block, Lorraine.

Left: Printing and collage combine to make this lovely page which features a tree from Sherwood Forest as it's focal point.

Above and Left: A stitched additional flap above, is lifted, left, to reveal a precious metal leaf. Ordanance Survey maps form the background to this page with paper beetle and bug additions!

We hope you have enjoyed browsing through the first examples of our students work for Module9 of this exciting new course. Why not take a look at Module 10?
