Module Eight
In Module 8 students work with ideas to modify the proportion and shape of the sketchbook page.
Surrounding images: Sue has used a variety of techniques including cutting and folding, collage and painting to create these exciting sketchbook pages.

 

 

Left and far left: Lynn was inspired by poppy petals and worked these pages that involve transparent acetate layers.

Left and right: Kitty has created a series of pages in her book that explore cutting apertures and shaped edges.

 

 

Left and Right: Inspired by the dramatic photo of the moutnain ranges, Di has developed the theme used cut edges and stencilling.

Left: Lorraine has developed earlier ideas of working with painted papers and collage techniques.

 

Right: Lorraine has modified the shape of the page edge to fit with her visual imagery of leaves.

Above and Right: Linda has already filled several sketchbooks with her work for the course!
Above and below: This gorgeous set of work by Linda explores layering of collage and print techniques all done using a sumptuous palette of colours.
