One Two Three Four Five Six Seven Eight Nine Ten
Student Exhibition
Module Ten
In Module 10 students make their final assessment piece, working to a given brief. Students must make a quilt, but have a choice of whether it's for a wall, bed or throw.
Above: Elisabeth's final assessment piece for the course is this vibrant cot quilt.  Pieced using a 'Pineapple' design and with free machine quilted pineapple motifs which makes the quilt particularly appropriate for a new member of the family as the pineapple is often seen as a symbol of welcome.
Above: Brenda is quilting her final assessment piece. Here it is as work in progress. We think it's stunning!
Above, left and right: Eva is working on a pair of panels using a range of her own dyed fabrics.

Above and right: Marjolein is beginning work on her final assessment inspired by a trip to South America.

Below: Marjolein has also made this lovely quilt using Markal stencilling techniques from earlier in the course!

Above: Detail of Marjolein's stencilled quilt.

Left: Chris is working on an ambitious design to make a quilt for her Grandson.

Above: The quilt involves a combination of patchwork techniques.
