7923-04 Patchwork and Quilting Diploma Module 9
In Module 9 students begin to work through ideas for their final assessment - the quilt.

Above and right: Catherine's sketchbook showing the backup and planning work towards her final assessment piece for the course. Her quilt inspired by the Haida art of the Pacific Northwest and featuring a salmon motif together with maple leaves will be a large wallhanging made in several separate sections.

Left: Jean's first thoughts for her final assessment piece for the course, her quilt. It will reference her in depth research into the Berlin Wall.
Right: Some of Anna's design work for her quilt which will be worked in separate layers that will then be hung in front of one another to complete the composition.
Below: Some of Anna's sampling.
We hope you have enjoyed browsing through the first examples of our students work for Module 9 of this exciting new online course. Additional images will be added as soon as have them!
