7822-42  Creative Computing - Module One

In Module 1 students are introduced to the basic elements of design, begin inspirational collections of images and explore simple linear marks using a variety of drawing tools on paper before exploring the tools available on the computer.

Above left and right: Nancy has used different qualities of pencil to create these samples of line.
Below: This sample is watercolour pencil.

Dorrit's sample on the right is drawn with felt tip pen

Left: In this sample of computer generated drawing Dorrit has created a wonderfully sensitive rendering of a tree stump.

Below Pauline is trying out the different settings to re-create qualities of line using the computer.

Using wax crayons and a wash Nancy has created this sample on the right.

Pauline has made a pleasing sponge print, right.

These are a few of the inspirational images collected by the students so far.

Creative Computing is a new course here at DesignMatters so the Gallery is not yet complete. Do come back soon to see more work. For now, why not take a look at Module 2?
