Simple piecing of commercial, hand dyed and discharged fabrics was the beginning of this quilt design. Techniques used include applique, painted, transferred Bondaweb and beading.
The quilt was free machine quilted using a long arm.

Above left: Detail showing the bound edge of the quilt embellished with beads and copper coloured washers.

Above: The same washer was used in the main body of the quilt.
