Welcome to the Sketchbooks section of the Gallery. Sketchbooks and drawing are a vital stage in my working progress. Often the books provide the place to experiment and develop ideas that become textiles, sometimes they are the end in themselves.

I have made quite a few poppy quilts and below are some of the drawings that started it all...
