			Lectures 'From Start to Finish' I regard the sourcing of inspiration and ways of recording this information as a critical aspect to my work. This slide lecture illustrates my working journey from initial inspiration, through sketchbooks, to the completion of finished pieces of work. Examples of sketchbooks and textile pieces will be available for closer inspection at the end of the talk. Approx. duration 1 hour, £90 Classroom Requirements 'Sketchbooks - How to Make Them, How to Use Them' Slide lecture illustrating a wide variety of sketchbook construction using simple methods from scratch, customisation and ways to work in them. Examples of sketchbooks will also be available for closer inspection! Approx. duration 1 hour, £90 Classroom requirements 'Embellished Quilting' Those familiar with my work will know I love to heavy work the surfaces of pieces with stitch drawing and paint. This slide lecture will illustrate these various techniques and also cover foiling and beading. Examples of work will be available at the end of the lecture for closer inspection.
