small wallhanging was a response to a commission by Region Eleven of the Quilters'
Guild of the British Isles to make a piece for the '90's Collection'. Inspired
by the symbolist artist Levy-Dhurmer it is hand painted with screen printing
inks and machine quilted. The images above right and right, show the piece in progress and a detail of the painting. |
