Martina's final assessment quilt was this wallhanging which is designed to hang behind a piece of furniture displaying a set of pottery which is the inspiration for the quilt. The colours of the glaze and the surface design of the pottery have been interpreted in the quilt. The lightness of the pottery shapes floating down the quilt is a quirky contrast to their actual solidity. |

| For her Wallhanging Assessment Martina made a hanging to cover a narrow window, not to allow light through but to allow some to filter around the edges. It was again inspired by Danish landscape; this time cliffs and sea. The hanging incorporates phototransfer, felted materials and many different textures. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Martina's Item for an Interior Assessment were place mats inspired by the landscape on a remote Danish Island photographed in winter. The landscape was stylised and simplified into this elegant design in a cool frosty colour scheme. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The second assessment was inspired by Gingko leaves. The shape was created to showcase the whole cloth quilting she wanted to incorporate. Using fragments of cloth bonded to a background Martina has suggested piles of freshly fallen leaves. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Here's Martina's 3D Assessment item inspired by a block of tenements. Martina was attracted by the neutral colours and strong vertical lines as well as the textures. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
