At the conclusion of our Online 7922 Patchwork and Quilting course, students who have satisfied all the syllabus requirements are awarded a certificate by the awarding body, City & Guilds of London. We would like to offer our congratulations too!

Wietske Kluck
For her final assessment, Wietske has returned to a them that is important to her. Her quilt is inspired by the flow of daily life and the unexpected events that interrupt that flow.
The hand dyed fabrics perfectly capture the delicate colours of the Chrondus Crispus that has inspired Wietske's wall hanging. She is drawn to the colours and the curly edges of the red algae.
For her interior assessment Wietske was inspired by fossils and ammonites while on a family holiday, she has created a wonderful hassock for her sitting room.

Wietske's accessory item is a lovely circular bag, inspired and adorned with adinkra symbols.

Wietske's container  was inspired by the Sydney Opera House, and is designed to hold her small sewing supplies.
The following images show a selection of work from Wietske's portfolio.
