At the conclusion of our Online 7822 Patchwork and Quilting course, students who have satisfied all the syllabus requirements are awarded a certificate by the awarding body, City & Guilds of London. We would like to offer our congratulations too!
Siri Schulerud
Siri's final assessment is a quilt for her bed using careful colour gradation for the borders and the centre panels. The beautiful colour gradation extends to the sashing and appliquéd hexagons.  Siri has added stenciled and appliquéd leaves along with a few butterflies in the centre panel of her quilt.
Siri was inspired be the beautiful town of Alesund, Norway, well known for it's Art Nouveau style  wooden houses. Her appliqué wallhanging shows the view from inside one of these houses to the surrounding neighbourhood.
