| Rosemary Gillespie Rosemary's final quilt is a sofa throw designed using the New York Beauty block. Rosemary has used a double version of the block with a circle of points set inside another for a striking effect. Detail below. |

| Rosemary carefully considered the design before putting scissors to cloth. Above is one of the variations that she devised using a computer program to draw the block. The computer was useful, but it was also helpful to pin out the fabrics on the design wall to get an idea for colour placement. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
