| As a knitter Pauline has designed a motif to be transferred to a knitted garment using heat transfer methods. The inspiration in this assessment was Ivor, the family pet snake! | ||||||||||||

| For her complex image assessment the inspiration was two very different cities in Italy; she was keen to contrast the different types of architecture found in Venice and the more modern architecture in Valencia. In the end the evocation was of Venice with this image of the canals. | ||||||||||||
| Pauline used the Falkirk Wheel as her inspiration for the image at the front of her book cover and another for the frontispiece. | ||||||||||||
