At the conclusion of our Online 7823-08 Creative Sketchbooks Course, students who have satisfied all the syllabus requirements are awarded a certificate by the awarding body, City & Guilds of London. We would like to offer our congratulations too!

The free standing zig zag book shown above was inspired by a visit to Portmeirion in Wales.

 

 

 

 

Cut and folded paper techniques have been used to create the lovely designs above left and left.

 

Lorraine has combined several paint techniques in her collage design above.
Lorraine's 1st assessment piece was inspired by Sherwood Forest. Some of the initial research is shown above on the right. The atmospheric book cover above left makes creative use of photocopying on acetate.

The sample portfolio introduces a wide range of media and techniques. Lorraine's examples show her delicate handling of materials and sensitive use of colour.
