At the conclusion of our Online 7922 Patchwork and Quilting course, students who have satisfied all the syllabus requirements are awarded a certificate by the awarding body, City & Guilds of London. We would like to offer our congratulations too!
Karen James
Karen's final assessment quilt was this wallhanging inspired by her garden diary. It uses a mixture of techniques including piecing, printing and applique.

Above: Karen's wallhanging was inspired by a photograph of spring blossom against a brilliant blue sky. She's used applique and inserts with printing to create the quilt. Machine quilting completes the piece.
Above: Karen made a cushion for her 'Interior' Assessment piece using applique with the addition of some fabric paint.
