At the conclusion of our Online 7822 Patchwork and Quilting course, students who have satisfied all the syllabus requirements are awarded a certificate by the awarding body, City & Guilds of London. We would like to offer our congratulations too!
Jane's final assessment piece is inspired by her travels in Puerto Rico and she has combined a collection of her own images taken at the Parque de las Palomas, Pigeon Park. Her careful piecing and interpretation of the colours has created a lovely quilted hanging perfectly suited to her living room.
Jane has used various appliqué techniques in the construction of her first assessment piece, she has designed and made a cushion for her sister's family room. The cushion echoes the existing decor and reflects the beautiful garden just outside the windows.
