| Herma's final assessment piece is a wonderful quilt for her sister's bed. The quilt is bright and colourful and includes personal images and mementos of her sister's life. The pieced quilt is made from hand-dyed and painted fabrics as well as velvets and fabrics Herma has created using embroidery techniques. | |||||||||||||

| Herma's wallhanging is made from her beautiful hand dyed and painted fabric inspired by the colours of the Erasmus Bridge at night. Her wallhanging is made using needle-turn appliqué techniques and she has hand-quilted the Art Nouveau inspired design. | |||||||||||||
