			Hand dyed fabrics were pieced to form the quilt top. Flower-like crazy patchwork triangles were fused to the surface and printed details were added with acrylic sponge stamping in curving columns that suggest stems. Machine quilting with beads and hand stitched seaded areas add texture. The paintings of Paul Klee continue to influence much of my recent work, particularly his stylised flower and text symbols.
