Laura's hand dyed grey fabric is used here as a background to appliquéd crows. I have added a spiky pieced border to the top and left hand side and triangular 3D inserts into the seam on the right. The quilting is free machine stitched with additions of angular satin stitch zigzags. The binding has beaded detail in places.
