The Small Print
Please note that there is a minimum order value of £10. We've tried to make the online shopping expereince here at DesignMatters operate as smoothly as possible. If you have any problems, questions, or you can't find what you are looking for, then just email and we'll be happy to help out. If you prefer not to shop online, then you can order all products using our mail order service. Just print out the ORDER FORM, complete it and post it to us with your payment. Please note that we only accept Sterling cheques or money orders - other currency cheques, cash, chocolate and bribes while attractive, just won't cut it.

All items in the Store are offered subject to availability and we reserve the right to withdraw products and amend prices at any time. Prices on the Store are shown in Sterling.

Payment
Orders placed using the online shopping cart here on the site are processed for payment via PayPal enabling you to pay safely and quickly using your debit/credit card or your PayPal account. You don't need to have a PayPal account. You'll be guided through the payment process at Checkout, but it's all very easy.
If you are ordering by mail using the printable order form then please make your Sterling cheque or money order payable to DesignMatters and write your name and address on the back.

Delivery
There's no army of staff here, but as soon as your order arrives we will get right on it, packing and despatching as soon as possible. Orders are sent using Royal Mail First Class for UK mainland and Royal Mail Airmail for all overseas addresses. Should, for any reason, an item on your order be out of stock and will cause a delay to your order we'll let you know so that you can select an alternative, tell us you're happy to wait, or of course cancel. We always aim to despatch orders within two or three working days, but in practise many orders leave here the same day they arrive. If we can't get your order out of here within seven working days then we'll let you know. We've found Royal Mail offer a fast and reliable service, but we can't be held responsible for delivery times and delays. Please note that if ordering from outside the UK you may be responsible for customs and duty charges on your order.

We will take care to package your order so that it should arrive with you in perfect condition. Should any item be damaged on receipt please return it to us within 7 working days (at your own cost) for a replacement or refund (no postage costs can be refunded).
Many of the items for sale in our shop are hand made and will vary. This is the intrinsic nature of the products and in no way to be considered a fault. All items are prepared with great care and attention by the makers using the best quality materials and thorough processes.
Dyed fabrics and threads cannot be repeated exactly so be sure to purchase enough for your project.
